Back2Action is an exercise centred facility providing clients with a back rehabilitation  service to reduce pain, and increase  daily functional capacity.  Using a person centred approach to therapy, we work towards meeting the client’s needs.  Whether you want to lift up and swing your child, walk your dog without pain, carry your heavy shopping bags, or minimise falls,  each individual’s goals are central to the prevention, rehabilitation and performance program. The services we provide are relevant to everyday living to build strong bodies and healthy minds for people who require customised rehabilitation and exercise interventions.

At back2action we offer back rehabilitation services to strengthen back muscles and reduce pain. Neglect of your back and core strength can result in other debilitating effects which eventually impact on your daily activities at work and in your social life. Back rehabilitation and strengthening core muscles is central to the treament modality.

Most injuries to the back,  can be avoided by following a routine of exercises to strengthen the back and core muscles to cope with demands of a physically daily routine.

Back pain is caused by everyday activities such as pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, bending, twisting, coughing, sneezing and sitting for long periods – which we all take for granted until we feel the pinch or pain in our back!

Even though back pain can affect people of any age, it is significantly more common among adults aged between 35 and 55 years. Experts say that back pain is associated with the way our bones, muscles and ligaments in our backs work together. back2action uses the Dr. Wolff  back therapy equipment for complete back  rehabilitation, prevention of injuries and improved performance.

Our focus is on assisting clients to reduce or eliminate lower back pain through physical exercises, strengthen core stability and endurance, encourage participation in physical activity for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases, and restore full functional performance for daily living.

These preventative programs are designed for people who are free from pain and injury to ensure good quality of life, help pregnant women speed up the recovery process after birth by maintaining strong back and core muscles, and help senior citizens strengthen balance. Staying healthy, injury and pain free will contribute to future medical savings.
